Mike’s lifelong belief and goal is to help families spend quality time together by enjoying fun activities and attractions. I want to help you by getting more families to spend time together at your attraction.
Mike has been involved in the attractions industry for most of his life, working for many of the leading brands and in a variety of different roles. For his first job at age 16, Mike worked as a Games Host at Cedar Point, encouraging guests to give their best shot at any number of midway games. Mike worked 4 summers at Cedar Point and was the Team Leader for Magnum Ride Photo, Team Leader for the opening of Maverick Photo and Gift Shop, and as a Merchandise Supervisor overseeing the Frontier Trail and Ride Photo during his final summer.
During college at the University of Central Florida, Mike worked at Universal Orlando as an Attractions Supervisor Intern, learning the ins and outs of operations at one of the worlds leading theme parks, and also worked as a seasonal Cast Member at Walt Disney World for several years at Animal Kingdom. Recognizing the need to learn all aspects of the industry, Mike spent a summer working at Swings-N-Things Family Fun Park in Ohio as an Area Manager. During this time Mike worked closely with the FEC’s ownership and management team and gained hands-on experience for running a small attraction facility.
After gaining extensive knowledge of the operations, Mike jumped into sales and marketing with an internship at SeaWorld Orlando. During this time Mike worked directly with frontline sales representatives to promote the sales of SeaWorld tickets and was involved in several marketing projects, including transitioning the park website into a new CMS. Mike continued to grow and develop a career with SeaWorld; eventually leading the internship program, working directly on the in-market sales team, and joined the call center to inform and educate agents on all updates taking place throughout the company. Mike then joined the corporate office for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment as a Sales Coordinator where he led tradeshow planning and execution, grew into an Associate Manager role in Interactive Marketing leading product development, then was promoted to a Manager of E-commerce National Sales managing the affiliate marketing and Groupon programs. Mike transitioned to Manager of Digital Marketing, overseeing all e-commerce, analytics, and optimization efforts for the organization. In 2019, Mike joined Wyndham Destinations as a Digital Marketing Strategy Manager, developing new strategies to communicate and reach customers through digital channels.
Mike holds and MBA in Marketing from Saint Leo University and a B.S. in Hospitality Management from the Rosen College of Hospitality at the University of Central Florida.
